We work closely with BuSO KIDS in Hasselt , a specialized special education institution. This partnership is more than just a one-off; it's an opportunity for these young people with autism to develop their unique talents in a safe and stimulating environment .
Our young makers: together we create impact
The young people from special education are closely involved in finalizing the additional products in your order. They are the proud makers behind the smartphone holder you receive with the purchase of a portrait and the wooden bookmarks in our experience boxes.
Their contribution
Their specific tasks range from carefully sanding the wood and attaching keychains, to cutting the cords to the correct length and writing on the envelopes.
From waste to value
These unique extras are not only crafted with care, they are also cleverly designed. They are made from our own leftover wood after the portraits are cut out. This way, we give residual material a second, valuable life and significantly reduce our waste.
Development & Integration
This teaches them:
