How it works

1) Choose & share your photo(s)
A single photo or a combination of multiple images—anything is possible. We'll make sure they blend seamlessly. Even if someone's missing, we'll take care of that. We'll help you make the perfect choice.

2) Receive your design
Based on your image(s), we'll create an initial hand-drawn digital drawing. We'll pay attention to the details that make you truly recognizable: pose, hairstyle, clothing, and small features. You'll see this preview and can provide feedback.

3) Craftsmanship
After your approval, the portrait is precision-cut in Belgium from lightweight, biodegradable, and recyclable wood. The back of the wall-mounted models is covered with double-sided tape, so it's ready to be displayed in a warm spot in your home, without any additional materials.

4) With heart & soul
Each portrait is lovingly hand-finished by our small team and sanded by hand for the most beautiful result. We also create a special gift from the scrap wood, which is finished by young people in special education. This way, we offer them valuable skills and opportunities together.

Our story
My story started with my son, Juul.
The reason I started Juuniek? Because I know how quickly time flies. Your phone is full of precious moments: little smiles, funny looks, and unforgettable trips. Yet, they often remain unused. And yet, they deserve a place where you can enjoy them every day.
Life is a series of precious moments: from everyday gestures to profound milestones such as a wedding, the welcome of new life, or a comforting memento of a loved one.
With Juuniek, you can give all those moments a lasting place. An original and personal way to integrate your story into your interior. Not just a photo in a folder, but a warm anchor in your home.
When my son Juul was born, I wanted nothing more than to capture moments, both big and small. I accidentally discovered the art of laser cutting, and that's how my first line portraits came into being. From that moment on, it wasn't just about my memories, but especially about yours.
Juul was also the inspiration for the name Juuniek. This name is a loving contraction of "Juul" and "unique" 🥰.
