Made in our own workshop
Juuniek started at the kitchen table. Anneleen made a line portrait of her little son Juul, and it turned out to be so special that she wanted to make nothing else. The name? Juul + uniek (Dutch for unique). All wooden line portraits are still made in our own workshop, with the same care as that very first one.
The little extras in your parcel come from somewhere else, and we are a little proud of that. They are made by students with autism at BuSO KIDS in Hasselt: wooden bookmarks and phone holders from our leftover wood, which they sand, finish and pack. This way they gain work experience for later. In November and December they make hundreds of them, so that every parcel that leaves us carries a little piece of them too.

Until when can I order for Christmas?
If you order before 18 December, your portrait will be delivered by 23 December at the latest, so in time for Christmas Eve. Allow less than a week from upload to delivery. Every parcel is shipped insured, with track & trace. Start your design today and you’ll be sure to make it. Too late for the portrait? Then you’re still in time for the gift: a digital gift card lands in your inbox straight away, so they can choose their most beautiful photo themselves.
Can someone be added who isn’t in the photo?
Yes. In the design tool you can add a second photo. That way, both photos are combined. Not quite how you imagined it yet? Fill in the feedback field and our illustrator will make sure it is exactly right.
What if I don’t like the portrait?
Adjustments are unlimited and free, and nothing is made until you give your approval. If you are still not happy before that approval, you get a full refund. So you take no risk. Nothing is made that you don’t fully stand behind. Test your photo for free, with no obligation.
What do you give someone who has everything?
